Overview

I stumbled upon the Orange Farm project by sheer chance. As life often shows, it’s these unexpected surprises that bring us the most joy.

A group of local innovators from Johannesburg came up with a brilliant idea: to transform electronic waste into jewelry and use the profits to build a technology center for children.

Main objectives

My task was to document and provide strategic support for this initiative. I watched as useless computer parts were transformed into beautiful necklaces and bracelets. I felt I was part of something truly special.

Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic brutally verified our plans. The project, which was about to bloom, was forced into hibernation.

I dream of returning to this project. It’s an example of how creativity and determination can turn a problem into an opportunity, proving that in the digital era, everything deserves a second life – from an old processor to dreams of a better future.
