Senses in the digital age

Overview

I undertook the moderation and development of a debate scenario on the topic of senses in the digital space.

My goal was not only to lead the discussion but also to show that the obsessive vision of digitizing senses is nothing more than a primitive rush for technological novelty. I wanted to emphasize that our sensuality constitutes the essence of humanity.

To stimulate the discussion and engage the participants’ senses, I used experimental perfume “Hmmosphere” – a scent designed by The Hmm to capture the smell of the internet.

Each participant could experience this aroma and share their impressions, which significantly enlivened the debate and gave it a multisensory dimension.
