Overwiev

The event aimed to encourage participants to collectively celebrate 24 hours without Internet access, thereby promoting the idea of digital detox and minimizing the amount of generated data, consequently reducing one’s digital environmental footprint.

The gathering took place at King Poniatowski’s palace near Warsaw. The location was carefully chosen to allow easy access by bicycle, facilitating arrival without the use of phones or navigation.

Children from a local orphanage volunteered to help with the event preparations, adding an extra social dimension to the initiative.

Main reflection

The event concluded on a very pleasant note – participants departed feeling peaceful, charged with positive energy, and inspired by the beauty of music.

We succeeded in creating a valuable alternative to time usually spent on the internet, proving that “nature abhors a vacuum” – when we give up something that constitutes a large part of our lives, it’s worth filling that space with something equally meaningful and satisfying.
